About Nightgate

Welcome to the Nightgate Inn! Please, sit by the fire, get some warmth, find some most deserved rest and peace. If this is your first time here, let me tell you a bit about our humble establishment!

After 10 years of Elder Scrolls Online the continent of Tamriel is filled with quests and content. Many have shared their tips, tricks and builds, and new and experienced players alike can find an abundance of advice out there - some good, some less so. Content creators have come and gone, and for new players in particular it can be very hard to identify what is worth listening to.

Here at the Nightgate Inn the goal is to provide ESO tips of good quality, based on experience from seasoned adventurers that have spent - and are still spending - quite a lot of time in the game. The very endgamers already know where to go, but hopefully this can be a place for people who are just starting out and the ones who are ready to step into the mid and endgame.

Personally, I will not claim to be neither the best player in the history of ESO, nor am I all-knowing - but over the last few years I have accumulated some little experience, and being the nerd I am I consume far too much Elders Scrolls Online content and I can't help but to pick up some useful tidbits of information every now and then.

There are a lot of talented and knowledgeable ESO creators out there, I will in particular advice you to check out the likes of Skinnycheeks for damage dealer builds and Hyperioxes if tanking or solo play is your cup of tea. ESO-hub is a great source for information about sets, skills and other. The Nightgate Inn is in no form affiliated to or endorsed by any of the aforementioned, nor by ZOS/Bethesda/whoever I should mention to keep from being sued. Most likely none of them have even heard about us.

I hope you enjoy your stay, and find a tidbit of knowledge that will be useful for you!

Concerning cookies and coffee

The reason you don't get a cookie banner when you visit the Nightgate is very simply because we don't do cookies. We like privacy, and cookies are bad for privacy. That also means we don't do ads, because let's face it - advertisers don't really want to pay for stuff they can't reliably measure. Which in turn means that the only way to cover the costs of the page is to ask for donations - so if you want to help keep the Inn open by covering some of the server costs, please consider buying me a coffee.
